Step 1 – Collect Patron Information

1. Select New Payout from the menu panel on the left.

2. Review instructions on how to complete the payout, then select Continue.

3. Hold the ID document in front of the camera.

   1. If you are using the Checkd iPad app, the ID details will be captured automatically.

   2. If you are using a different device or a web browser, you will need to use the Capture button to take a photo of the ID document, and enter the ID details manually.

4. The required fields will turn green with a tick once captured. While the camera is open, turn the ID over to scan the back to captire additional details (e.g. address or card number) as needed.

   • If the ID is struggling to scan, tap the screen to focus the camera.

   • If fields don’t turn green, select Continue and enter any missing details manually.
5. Once the front and back of the ID are captured, Checkd will move to the Patron Information page. 
   • Remember: If any details are not captured correctly against the Australian Drivers Licence, the ID will come back as Unable to verify and additional ID documents may be required.
6. Ensure that the ID details have been captured accurately, and select the information boxes to add/modify info as required.
7. Depending on your venue’s Settings, you may be required to enter the patron’s phone number and/or email address.
